Star Wars: Bloodline by Claudia Gray
Star Wars: Bloodline by Claudia Gray
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
A New Hope! Excellent!
With the erasure/legendary status of the Expanded Universe, and the new movies beginning, this is a hopeful example of where the Star Wars franchise is headed.
Along with Gray's Lost Stars and Wendig's Aftermath series, there appears to be a disciplined effort to create a new expanded universe - and it's great.
Gray picks up details from Lost Stars, and aspects from the movie to weave a story of political intrigue that shows us how the First Order and the Resistance began.
