When Character Was King, by Peggy Noonan



This is a tremendous book about Ronald Reagan and his legacy - it makes a strong case that Reagan truly was a great president. If you voted for him, you'll be happy you did.

Bittersweet as it looks back and an underappreciated president and poignant as one realizes that, in his Alzheimer's befogged world, he can't receive the appreciation Noonan shows us we ought to have for him.
