Dark Debts, by Karen Hall

A book-on-tape - I got this, having read something about or by her on a Catholic blog. Hardly the most orthodox story, but a dramatic exorcism thriller all the same. Not sure if I'd have read it on paper. Probably would have read better in an un-abridged form (things seemed to happen awfully fast).

Fahrenheit 451, by Ray Bradbury

A good break from science and latin books - by daughter was re-reading this one.. it must have been 20 years or more since I read it before. It really holds up well. I can see the influence of Bradbury on my daughter's writing. Now I want to re-read Martian Chronicles... and hopefully entice her to read it.... Bradbury is a phenomenal writer. No hard SF for him, yet he is happy to acquire the hard SF landscape as needed.
