Star Wars The New Jedi Order: Dark Tide #1: Onslaught

Hmm - I go on reading jags, depending on whims, moods and availability of books. I'm taking a run at the "New Jedi Order" books, a massive marketing and writing effort that began with the death of Chewbacca, among other things. Rather dark, and in the generation or so after A New Hope, I'll see how much of it I can stand.

Meanwhile, it has inspired some Star Wars research on my part, and upgrading of the Galactic Phrase Book program and website. I've found a wealth of material is out there, especially the Wermo's guide to SW languages. Oh, and there is also a lot you can do with modeling tools - here is a combination I made using Celestia showing the Millenium Falcon orbiting Earth beside an Apollo moonship:
