By Arthur Conan Doyle

Once more through the master - I'm slowly working my way through the Holmes Canon - listening to the excellent audio version available from AudioBooksForFree.com.

Spook Country

Funny. I picked up a used copy of "Digital Fortress" by Brown - because it was supposed to be "good" (compared to what Salman Rushdie calls "the worst book ever written," The DaVinci Code). Well.... I was underwhelmed (to be fair, I haven't gotten too far yet).

This, on the other hand, is elegant and mysterious. Rather art-y as most of Gibson's prose is - following three sets of characters on what is ultimately an final meeting or intersection. Very much a "caper story" - except you don't know what the caper is until the end - and even then it is murky... though in a good way.
