Born a Crime by Trevor Noah
Born a Crime by Trevor Noah
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
If Mark Twain were alive.....
...I think he'd see Trevor Noah as a latter-day Tom Sawyer and/or Huckleberry Finn.
Noah tells an amazing story - and hearing it from his lips means that all the African (and Afrikaner) accents and languages come through crystal clear. He's no saint - in fact he seems like a really bad kid at times. But his life and story (and his mother's amazing life) made this a riveting story.
