Nicely done - I got the unabridged (4 cassettes, not 2) version, though I'm sure the abridged is nicely done (same reader - and these are usually edited well).

Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the Enterprise crew are on their way to celebrate the wedding of First Officer Will Riker and Counselor Deanna Troi when they are diverted for an unexpected diplomatic mission to the planet Romulus. Longtime enemies of the Federation, the Romulans have expressed their desire to initiate negotiations leading to unity in the galaxy. But on their arrival, the Enterprise crew is faced with a threat that could lead to the destruction of planet Earth. Picard must keep command of his crew-even as he comes fact to face with his most dangerous adversary yet.

Great fun to hear; it helps out in my reading of the new "Titan" series, which follows from this story/movie/book. Helps make more sense of the story.
