This is a very touching, inspiring, and uplifting book about one man's friendship with Fred Rogers. And, it can make you cry. That's a good thing.

I'm sorry I finished it as quickly as I did - I'd like to read it again. The nice thing is, that in sharing his friendship with Rogers, Madigan lets you in on it - and the lessons, love and caring he experienced can be something for the reader to enjoy as well.

A wonderful book.

Just One More Thing: Stories from My Life

This was a dizzying array of anecdotes and stories from Falk's life - a fun read and it gives you lots of tidbits of film history and Falk's life on the stage and screen. (I'll admit that his Princess Bride anecdote was interesting.. BUT his final line is "As you wish," not "as you like it" as he reports here.

Still a fun book.
Glass Houses: A Gregor Demarkian Mystery

The Plate Glass Killer is terrorizing Philadelphia, and the alcoholic, homeless scion of the wealthy Tyder family is arrested after being found, covered in blood, at the latest murder scene. Gregor Demarkian (Hardscrabble Road), retired head of the FBI's Behavioral Sciences Unit, is asked to investigate Tyder's bizarre behavior and the police case, which has been compromised by a feud between the two detectives in charge. To complicate matters, Demarkian's girlfriend, Bennis Hannaford, returns unannounced (she left almost a year ago).

Yet another enjoyable Demarkian story. OF course the soap opera of Cavanaugh street has lots of unresolved elements - and that's just find. I'm only sorry I have to wait for the next one....
