Searching for Bobby Fischer
Fred Waitzkin

Very charming book - about quite a few things. The whole chess world - nationally and internationally are covered in fascinating details. A nice father/son story that doesn't flinch from some of the stressful aspects of raising and training a chess prodigy.

Talking with friends about the book there was a reaction about "freaky, nerdy" chess players, so I was happy to discover that little Josh seems to have turned out quite well.
