Exiled from Coruscant and the heart of his new Jedi Order, Luke Skywalker and his son, Ben, travel to the world of the alien Aing-Tii, Force-users who have knowledge of heretofore unknown Force powers and perhaps the answers to problems currently pressing the Jedi. As the Jedi fall victim to a spreading insanity, the Galactic government becomes more hostile toward the knights, and, unknown to all, the Sith threat grows stronger.
More of the complex Shakespearean travails of the Skywalker and Solo clans. I was in a Star Wars kinda mood, I finally finished listening to this.  Thanks to the library, I've already got the next one ready to listen to.  If you're not up to speed on the EU check out cuswe.org.
Death of a Charming Man (Hamish Macbeth Series #10) by M. C. Beaton
All Sergeant Hamish Macbeth wants to do is fish and drink coffee with his fiance. Then a mysterious stranger moves into the neighboring village--a rich, unmarried heartbreaker, causing rivalry among the local women. It is amusing until death threats, assault and murder shatter the tranquil countryside. Hamish must investigate the darker side of love and desire.
Poor Hamish - he never seems to get close to having a happy life with Priscilla... of course she wants him to strive for better things, and he and his superiors keep disagreeing about things..... but another fine story. Thanks Netlibrary for providing this as an audio book!
